The city of Shenzhen had an annual population growth of 15% from 1990 to 2000 making it one of the fastest growing cities. From a small village in the early 80s to an urban city with more than 10 million people in about 20 years. The outcome can be experienced while visiting the city. It is the "garden city" of China.
With a relatively young population the City is full of energy and hope for the future. Its government is concerned about its rapid population growth but it is agressively planning and developing its future infrastructure.
